Housekeeper – Mount White

  • Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm + Working every second weekend Saturday and Sunday
  • (client can be flexible with some days)
  • Salary negotiable for the right person.
  • A large rural property is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join a team of two Housekeepers. There are 4 properties to work across.

Candidate requirements:

  • Excellent housekeeping experience
  • Experience in a 4-5-star luxury hotel/resort and/or private house
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be professional and take immaculate pride in the presentation of your work and self
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Full Driver’s license required
  • National police check required
  • The client has advised they require the Housekeeper to be vaccinated

Job description;

  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter-tops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Emptying rubbish
  • Tidying up rooms
  • Sorting washing, loading, and unloading laundry. Carrying out with care on all laundry and ironing.
  • Spring cleaning and managing all wardrobes, linen press, cupboards, pantry etc. on a regular basis
  • Any other tasks required for the day-to-day running of the household as required
  • Identifying any maintenance issues and reporting back to the owners
  • Occasional cooking
